LONDON- The Global Terrorism Index (GTI) 2016 elaborated by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) ranked Algeria 49th out of 163 countries, affirming that Algeria is of on the rare countries that have recorded “a steady decline” in the number of fatalities from terrorism.

Terrorist supporter arrested in Batna

ALGIERS-A terrorist supporter was arrested Thursday in the province of Batna (390km east of Algiers) by a detachment of the People’s National Army (ANP), the National Defence Ministry announced Friday in a communiqué.
