ALGIERS- The relations between Algeria and France in the field of vocational training and education were reviewed Monday, in Algiers, in an audience granted by the minister of the sector, Mohamed Mebarki to a delegation of the France-Algeria friendship group of the French Senate.
The meetings between the minister of Vocational Training and Education and a delegation of the Algeria-France Friendship group, led by Senator Alain Neri, on a visit to Algerian from 11 to 17 March 2017, focused on the state of relations between the two countries in the sector of vocational training and education.
The two parties highlighted “the importance of training for jobs in the process of supporting activities in the sector of productive and foreign investment in Algeria, particularly French” said the ministry in a statement.
During this meeting, Mebarki presented the characteristics of the Algerian system of vocational training and education at the double qualitative and quantitative level, highlighting the main axes of its five-year action plan, while underlining the directivethat was given “to favour training approaches that involve enterprises in the educational action to favour the employability of trainees.”
For his part, the president of the Algerian-French Parliamentary Friendship Group of the French Senate recalled that his mission in Algeria aims at “strengthening friendship ties between the two countries and to raise technical cooperation at the level of the excellence of the political relations.”
