Libya crisis: High Council of State willing to work for rapid settlement through dialogue

TRIPOLI-President of the High Council of the Libyan State Abderrahmane Souihli affirmed Thursday the Council’s willingness to work for rapid solutions to the crisis in Libya through dialogue, highlighted the “effectiveness” of the position of Algeria, which remains in equidistance vis-à-vis all Libyan parties.  

Speaking after his meeting Tripoli with Minister of Maghreb Affairs, the African Union and the Arab League Abdelkader Messahel, Souihli hailed “the position of Algeria, which remains which remains in equidistance vis-à-vis all Libyan parties. Such position imparts further effectiveness to its role and support to a peaceful settlement of the crisis.”

 

 “We appreciate and consider the attempts of Algeria, which has always helped Libyans achieve solutions acceptable by all Libyan parties,” recalled the same official, stressing that “the High Council of State is ready to make all possible efforts to steer out Libya from this crisis and reach rapid solutions.”
