ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika has signed presidential decrees on the ratification of agreements with different countries as well as on Algeria's adherence to the Acts of 24th Universal Postal Union Congress, said Monday the Presidency of the Republic in a statement.
President Bouteflika has signed a presidential decree on the ratification of the agreement between Algeria and Bulgaria on merchant navy, inked in Sofia on 2 November 2011.
He signed the memorandum of understanding between Algeria and Qatar, on oil and gas cooperation, inked in Algiers on 7 January 2013.
The Head of State also signed a decree on the ratification of the agreement between the Algerian Government and the International Labour Organization regarding the Higher Institute of Social Security, inked in Geneva on 14 June 2013.
In addition to a decree on the ratification of an agreement between Algeria and France on reciprocal short-stay visa waiver for holders of diplomatic or service passports, inked in Algiers on 16 December 2013.
These decrees were signed in accordance of the Article 77-11 of the Constitution, the statement said.
