ALGIERS- Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal declared Sunday in Algiers that the coming Constitution will consolidate the process of the National Reconciliation as a "socio-civilizational question" if consensus is reached by the participants in the underway consultations on the revision of the Constitution."
If a consensus is reached by the political parties, the civil society and the national personalities participating in the consultations on the revision of the Constitution, the government will complete the process of the national reconciliation,” Sellal added while presenting the government’s action plan before the members of the Council of the Nation.
"The national reconciliation is a lasting process. It is not limited to the recovery or the granting of some rights but it’s a socio-civilizational question that will enable us to definitively address" certain situations, he argued.
Concerning the consultations on the revision of the Constitution, the Premier stressed the need for reinforcing these consultations with the involvement of the civil society and the elected assemblies and the parliament.
