ADDIS ABABA- The Director General of National Police and chairman of the African Police Cooperation Mechanism (Afripol) Major General Abdelghani Hamel called Tuesday, in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), for “the promotion of cooperation between the African and international police institutions, and for the strengthening of operational capacities of the authorities in charge of enforcing the law in order to carry out the peace and development process in Africa.”

 CONSTANTINE- Liaison committees coming under AFRIPOL (the African Mechanism for Police Cooperation) will be created “shortly” in all the provincial Police services of the country, announced Monday in Constantine, Divisionary Superintendent Abbad Benyamina, Director of the international cooperation at the General Directorate of the National Police (DGSN).
