|| || ||

ORAN (Algeria)- The Centre for Research in Social and Cultural Anthropology (CRASC) signed recently an agreement with the Algerian National Commission for UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), in order to develop scientific activities in education, said the director of the centre based in Oran (432-km west of Algiers).

According to Belkacem Bezenine, the agreement signed with the Algerian Commission for UNESCO, chaired by Minister of National Education Nouria Benghebrit, provides for a programme of scientific activities (studies, surveys, symposiums, conferences).

Education is the top priority for the Centre for Research in Social and Cultural Anthropology in the period between 2016 and 2020, he added.

The agreement also provides for creating a chair of education and another for the elimination of illiteracy, in addition to a research laboratory within the CRASC, specialized in education themes, and an electronic platform for training.
