Next revision of law on town planning

MEDEA- Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City Abdelwahid Temmar announced Monday, in Medea, that the law on town planning, which dates from 1990, will be soon revised, affirming that the changes that the country has experienced, during the last decades, require the revision of this law to adapt it to  Algeria of tomorrow.

ALGIERS-Contracts by mutual agreement to build 22,900 hire purchase housing units (AADL) have been approved by the Council of Ministers, which met Wednesday in Algiers, under the chairmanship of President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

M'SILA- Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City Abdelwahid Temmar underlined, Tuesday in M'sila, the need to revise the law on urban planning, dating back to 1990, with a view to adapting it to the current situation in towns.

ALGIERS-The Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City Abdelwahid Temmar announced Wednesday in Algiers that his department considered the launch of the implementation works of 330,000 housing units whose works had not already started, as part of the program to build 1,600,000 housing units including 55,000 in Algiers and 120,000 rental housing units (AADL) and other housing types.

ALGIERS- New minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City Abdelwahid Temmar took Saturday his duties, replacing Youcef Chorfa, after President Abdelaziz Bouteflika appointed members of the new government, chaired by Ahmed Ouyahia.
