WASHINGTON-Algerian expert Rabah Arezki has been appointed as the World Bank's Chief Economist for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in replacement of Sri Lankan Shanta Devarajan.

ALGIERS- A regional summit of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa region 2017 (WEF on Mena) will be held from 19 to 21 May at the Dead Sea, in Jordan, with the participation of the minister of Industry and Mining Abdesselam Bouchouareb said Wednesday, the ministry in a communiqué.
