GDP growth hits 1.4% in Q3 2017

ALGIERS- Algeria’s GDP (gross domestic product) growth reached 1.4% in the third quarter of 2017 compared with the same period a year earlier, said the National Office of Statistics (ONS).
ALGIERS-Finance Minister Abderrahmane Raouya on Tuesday affirmed that employment remained a priority for the State even in the event that private companies took stakes in public companies operating in non-strategic sectors under the pubic-private partnership.

Business activity down in Q3 of 2017

ALGIERS – Business activity went down during the third quarter of 2017, both for wholesalers and retailers, said a survey conducted by the National Office of Statistics (ONS).
