ALGIERS- The production of dates has almost doubled, moving from 600,096 tonnes in 2012 up to 1,100,000 tonnes in 2017, of which 3 percent meant for export, said Tuesday in Algiers Director General of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI), Wahiba Bahloul.
