ALGIERS- the Ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reforms will organize the 4th edition of the international fair of hospital sector expertise "Al Moustechfa," in partnership with El Moustechfa Event agency and which takes place from 13 to 26 March 2017 at the Algerian Company for Fairs and Exports (SAFEX).
This edition will include the participation of 150 national and foreign exhibitors said Monday, in Algiers, Slim Belkessam adviser to the minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform.
Speaking on the occasion of a press conference, jointly held with the director general of Al Moustechfa Event agency Lamia Guellif, the adviser to the minister said that this event, the first of its kind in the Maghreb and in Africa, will bring together stakeholders of the hospital sector, notably doctors, paramedical, biologists, technicians, biomedical, management an equipment.
It will bring together health directorates of the 48 provinces and other state institutions, including teaching hospitals, cancer centres, military medical services and Civil Protection and National Police.
NOUAKCHOTT (Mauritania)- Preparations for sales and show event shedding light on Algerian products in Nouakchott, Mauritania (April 20-30), are underway in coordination between the Algerian Fairs end Exportation Company (SAFEX) and Mauritanian officials to make of the economic event a success.
The head of SAFEX Department of Exhibitions Abroad, Biyata Fethallah, has paid a visit to Nouakchott during which he had contacts with Mauritania's ministry of Trade and Customs and met officials involved in the organization of the event.
Representatives of SAFEX met top Mauritanian executives representing various sectors to discuss the steps taken in this respect.
Following his visit to Mauritania, Biyata told APS he received all necessary facilitations from the Mauritanian authorities, saying he was "satisfied with the mission's outcome."
Several Algerian public and private companies specialized in industry, agro-business, medical and paramedical field as well as tourist and craft industries will take part in the 10-day economic event in Nouakchott.
ALGIERS- The 50th International Fair of Algiers (FIA) will be held from 8 to 13 May at the Exhibition Centre (Pins Maritimes) in Algiers said Tuesday, the Algerian Company of Fairs and Exports (SAFEX) in a communiqué.
This edition will include the participation of more than 1,000 national and foreign exhibitors, with Russia as a guest of honour.
“This event is one of the key moments where experiences are exchanged, business relations are made and where many ideas for industrial and trade partnership projects are initiated,” said the source.
For SAFEX, “the FIA will play, once again, its strategic role as a showcase of national economy in that it will present to foreign investors, the real and new Algerian economic possibilities and on the other hand, to the Algerian market to benefit from the multiple opportunities offered by the presence of a global supply in one place.”
Held in May 2016, the 49th edition of the International Fair of Algiers was marked by the participation of 810 exhibitors, including 405 foreign companies representing 33 countries.
ALGIERS- The second international exhibition of equipment for trade "Tijara Equip Expo" will take place at Algiers Exhibition Centre from 18 to 21 April, said the organizers on Wednesday.
Tijara Equip Expo aims at "promoting, developing and modernizing the sector of distribution and trade in Algeria," said representatives of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI) at a press briefing.
"It will also allow visitors and traders to meet national and foreign exhibitors of equipment, materials, accessories and tools necessary in the activity of trading and distribution," they added.
This year's edition will bring together about thirty national exhibitors as well as many foreign firms from Syria, China and Turkey, said CACI Vice-President Riadh Amour, adding that "this figure is expected to increase by April as CACI is still receiving applications for participation and confirmations of participations."
Tijara Equip Expo is organized by CACI in partnership with the Algerian Fairs and Exhibitions Company (SAFEX).
ALGIERS- The 47th International Fair of Algiers will open Wednesday the Algiers Exhibition Centre with the participation of more than 1,000 national and foreign companies from about forty countries.
According to the National Company of Fairs and Exports (SAFEX), the event's organizer, "Algiers International Fair, which will be held this year under the slogan "Strong and serene Algeria,' aims at encouraging economic exchanges between local and foreign exhibitors and promoting investment opportunities in Algeria."
Nearly 600 foreign companies representing 37 countries will participate in this fair, which is one of the major trade events in the African continent.
Algiers Exhibition Centre will host from May 28 to June 2 companies from 8 Arab countries, 8 from Europe, 5 from Asia, 3 from the Americas and 2 from Africa.
Besides the United States, the guest of honour of this year's edition, Argentine, Cuba, Venezuela, Turkey, Germany, France, Portugal, the united Kingdom, Russia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Japan, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Senegal, Cameroon, Egypt, Tunisia, Iraq, Palestine, Libya, Kuwait, Jordan and Sudan will be present with the aim to discover the Algerian market and its huge potential and meet partners.
Some fifty foreign companies from Spain, Italy, India, Iran, South Africa, Belgium, Ukraine, Burkina Faso, Yemen and Mali will participate individually in this edition.
The United States, will participate with 80 exhibitors operating in the pharmaceutical industry, transport, technology and agriculture.
A total of 453 Algerian companies operating in the food industry, services, energy, petrochemical industry, electronics, textile, mechanical engineering, iron and steel industry, building, public works and hydraulics, furniture also confirmed their participation.
The mornings will be exclusively reserved to businessmen, the organizers said, adding that conferences, trade meetings and cultural events will be organized on the sidelines of the trade show, which will culminate in the signing of several agreements between Algerian and foreign companies.
A visit of the ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM)' member states, which regularly participate in the trade event since the first editions, is scheduled for Thursday on the sidelines of their ministerial meeting in Algiers (26-29 May).
ALGIERS- International road safety show has opened on Saturday at the Exhibition Centre of Algiers (Safex) and will run until Monday, with the participation of the main actors in the field.
"We need to create a synergy between the concerned players over road safety issue, to reduce at maximum the number of road traffic accidents, as thousands of victims are recorded every year," Abdelouahab Hamouche, the event-'s organizer, told reporters.
The event will address three major themes, namely vehicle's security, road safety and the behaviour of drivers.
Lectures about the three main themes will be given by specialists and experts from several institutions and bodies concerned by road safety themes, such as national police, national Gendarmerie and the national centre for road prevention and security, Hamouche added.
