First National Philately Fair opens in Algiers

ALGIERS- The National Philately Fair opened Tuesday, in Algiers, under the supervision of the minister of Post, Telecommunications, Technologies and Digital Technology Houda Imane Feraoun on the occasion of the celebration of the 55th anniversary of the emission of the first Algerian postage stamp with the colors of independent Algeria.
ALGIERS-Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform Mokhtar Hasbellaoui on Monday underlined the need to reform the legal framework of the health sector to better adapt to the changes in Algeria and the progress made in medical sciences.
TINDOUF- Minister of Post, Telecommunications, Technologies and Digital Technology Iman-Houda Faraoun stressed Sunday in Tindouf on the need to reinforce and secure the telecommunications network in the Southern provinces.
ORAN – The Government aims at creating more than 40,000 start-ups nationwide between 2017 and 2018, said Sunday in Oran, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Tahar Hadjar.
BRUSSELS- Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Tahar Hadjar and his counterpart of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (Belgium) Jean-Claude Marcourt broached Friday, in Brussels, the possibility of creating an Algerian-Belgian Higher Education Conference, said a diplomatic source.
BRUSSELS- The agreement on Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA) signed Thursday in Brussels by Algeria, completes the bilateral agreement with the European Union on scientific and technology cooperation, signed in 2013, said the director of cooperation with the EU and its institutions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ali Mokrani.
ALGIERS- The first international e-health and hospital upgrading fair “HopitAlger Expo: Hospital of the future” was inaugurated Thursday in Algiers with the participation of various stakeholders of the health sector and others.

ALGIERS- The national cancer plan, initiated by President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika is “very ambitious,” said Wednesday, in Algiers, the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) to Algeria, Triphonie Nkrunziza, considering that Algeria is on “the right track” in terms of treating people with cancer.
ALGIERS- A data centre of international standing, that can be of interest to the giants of internet and multimedia in the world, will be built in Algeria, announced Tuesday Minister of Post, Telecommunications, Technologies and Digital Technology Houda-Imane Feraoun.
