SETIF (Algeria)- An enchanting fusion of rhythms and spirituality marked Saturday the fifth evening of the 4th International Samaa Essoufi, creating a sort of mystical harmony appreciated by the audience.
Setif’s audience gave the British troupe "Acheq Errassoul" and its vocalist the Pakistani Omrane Ilah a warm standing ovation after performing 12 qasida (a form of Perso-Arabic lyric poetry) in English, Punjabi and Arabic.
