ALGIERS- Algeria will participate in the World Expo in Milan (Italy), scheduled from May 1 to October 31, 2015 under the theme "Feeding the Planet: Energy for Life," highlighting its cultural heritage and development.
Throughout this participation, the Algerian pavilion, in addition to the tourist and cultural promotion of the country, will issue messages that will focus on two areas, according to officials of the pavilion.
The first heritage line will feature the historical, ancestral, and cultural elements of heritage in relation to the theme of the exhibition which will see the participation of 144 countries.
The second line will cover the development that will highlight innovations and advanced technology in agricultural production. This line relates to the theme of self-sufficiency and food security.
The Algerian pavilion is located in the bio-Mediterranean cluster, which will highlight the Mediterranean food regime and the typical conviviality it reflects.
