Arab Culture Ministers Congress discuss Constantine, capital of Arab Culture event, Arab archaeology center project in Tipasa

ALGIERS-Algeria participate in 19th Congress of Arab Culture Ministers, held on January 12 and 13 in Riyadh (Saudi capital), where preparations for Constantine, capital of Arab culture event and the Arab archaeology centre project in Tipasa, the Ministry of Culture said in statement.
This congress will be "an opportunity to review the current preparations for the launch of the Constantine Capital of Arab Culture 2015 event," the same source stressed, adding that " Arab Ministers of Culture will be invited to this ceremony."
The Secretary- General of the Ministry of Culture will lead the Algerian delegation at the congress, which included in its agenda the Arab archaeology centre in Tipasa, which will be discussed by the Algerian delegation to take the appropriate decisions on it," the statement added.
The works of the centre, which is expected to be delivered in May 2015, reached 85%and will cost $ 69 million.
Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), Abdullah Hamed Muhareb, said at his recent visit to Algeria at the end of 2014, that the project will be submitted to Arab Ministers "to provide the necessary material and cultural support to this monument that is considered as a pride of the Arab people."
