RABAT- The play "Riq Echaytan", directed by Azzouz Abdelkader will take part in the 2nd International Theatre Festival of Sidi Kacem (Northern Morocco), to be organized from July 19 to 23, the organizers said.
Produced by the collective "Sarkhat Errok'h" (the cry of the scene) of Tamanrasset, this monodrama played by comedian Wahiba Baali will officially compete this year with seven other shows produced by Moroccan troupes and other Arab and European countries.
Renowned comedian Wahiba Bâali met huge success in her first professional appearance on stage with her role in "Nedjma", a play adapted from the novel of the same name of Kateb Yacine.
Nedjma play was staged by Ahmed Benaïssa who has brought together in 2013 amateur comedians.
Two years later, she won the award for best actress in the 15th International Theatre Festival of El Bouqâa in Sudan.
