ALGIERS- Minister of Maghreb Affairs, African Union and Arab League Abdelkader Messahel held discussions, Wednesday in Doha, with Qatari Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement.
The discussions focused mainly on the "recent developments in the political situation in Libya and the urgent need to find a political solution, through an inclusive inter-Libyan dialogue and national reconciliation," said the statement.
The two ministers examined cooperation between Algeria and Qatar and expressed satisfaction at its level.
In this regard, they also discussed the forthcoming session of Algeria-Qatar High Joint Commission, which will be co-chaired by the prime ministers of the two countries in 2017, added the Ministry's statement.
