ALGIERS- Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and Town, Acting Minister of Trade Abdelmadjid Tebboune said Tuesday in Algiers that the second section of the new city of Sidi Abdallah will be delivered next June.
The distribution of 5,000 units of the AADL housing programme and 1,200 housing units of the LPP programme is scheduled for next June.
In addition, many public facilities like schools and entertainment areas will also be delivered, Tebboune said during an inspection visit to the construction site of new city of Sidi Abdallah.
He added that the keys have been delivered to the beneficiaries since the city's inauguration, last December, by President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
"The residents may have access to their new dwellings from the outset of next summer."
Tebboune also said that the new city will generate 1,200 jobs by May, as a large number of business premises, in the city, have been delivered to young people.
