CONSTANTINE-Minister of Industry and Mines Abdessalem Bouchouareb stressed Tuesday in Constantine industrial land "is no more a hindrance to investment in Constantine."
"Following the mobilization of 1,100 hectares of industrial land as part of the implementation of four industrial zones, including that will be inaugurated this month and two others in September, the problem of industrial land has been resolved in the province," said the Minister during a working visit to Constantine.
"This is a very important asset" that must be "made profitable" through a good exploitation and management to strengthen "Constantine's position as an economic and industrial hub nationwide," he said.
In this regard, the minister highlighted the importance of "strengthening domestic integration" of plants as integration "is an added value" for these plants and supports competitiveness in the industrial field.
During his visit to the province, Bouchouareb inaugurated in the morning a tile cement plant in the industrial area of Tarf, and visited GIKA group's industrial maintenance company in the East, located in the industrial area of Didouche Mourad commune.
In the afternoon, the minister will chair a meeting with investors and economic operation in the province.
