ORAN (Algeria)- Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal will pay on Wednesday a working visit to Oran (400 km west of Algiers).
During this one-day visit, part of the implementation of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika programme, the Premier will inaugurate and inspect several projects of the sectors of water resources, food processing industry, industry and pharmaceutical industry, sport and housing.
In the commune of Oued Tlélat, Sellal, who will be accompanies by a large ministerial delegation, will inaugurate a 1,460 hectare pilot farm specializing in the agricultural development.
In the commune of Tafraoui, in Oued Tlelat sup-prefecture, the PM will open an industrial complex for sugar refining of a capacity of 700,000 tons per year.
In the sub-prefecture of Bethioua, Sellal will inaugurate an industrial complex of production of stainless steel spiral tubes, built by Group ETRHB Haddad.
He will also lay the first stone of a lubricant production plant of Group Total Algerie and he will inaugurate an extension to the steel complex of Algerian-Turkish Company Tosyali Iron steel industry.
The PM and the delegation accompanying him will later head to the sub-prefecture of Bir El djir, to inaugurate a plant of antibiotics production of Group Sophal.
Furthermore, Sellal will inspect the progress of the construction works of Oran new sport complex, including a 40,000 seat Olympic Stadium.
In the commune of Misserghine, west of Oran, Abdelmalek Sellal will lay the first stone of a new real estate of 50,000 housing units.
In Oran, the ministerial delegation will inspect the project of a road linking Oran Port and East-West Highway and will follow a presentation about the project of the maritime strip development.
After the inauguration of the Four Points Hotel in Oran, Sellal will chair a meeting with the civil society representatives.
