ORAN-Premier Abdelmalek Sellal on Wednesday laid the first stone of the project to build 6,000 AADL housing units in Misserghine, in the province of Oran.

This quota is part of a total of 10,000 hire-purchase housing units to be implemented on side as part of a program of 13,000 housing units from which the capital of the West has benefited.  

Stretching over an area of 51 hectares, this project, contracted by the National Agency for the Improvement and Development of Housing (AADL, will contribute to making up housing deficit, creating jobs, reviving the sector and improving citizens’ life conditions.

Nearly 1,000 jobs will be created part of the implementation of this project that will be delivered “in late 2019.”

As regards the companies in charge of implementing this project, two have been selected, namely the national company El Bayrak Ltd (3,000 housing units) and the Chinese CRCEG (3,000 housing units). The total coast of the project amounts to DZD 19.3 billion.  

After listening to a presentation on this project, the Premier advocated the implementation of such projects in the form of smart cities so that they meet global standards.

 “A smart city is not only made up of smart districts but also services and facilities that must meet new standards and practices,” he stated.

ALGIERS- A total of 11,600 hire-purchase housing units will be delivered by the National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development (AADL) nationwide in early Ramadan (the holy month of fasting), said Monday the Ministry of Housing, Urban Planning and the City in a statement.

During a meeting with central and regional executives of AADL and the National Real Estate Development Company (ENPI), Housing Minister Abdelmadjid Tebboune gave directives to fulfil AADL commitments by gradually delivering housing units to the subscribers to 2001-2002 programme as from Ramadan.

A total of 11,600 housing units will be delivered nationwide, including 8,000 housing units in Algiers (2,500 in Ain Malha, 2,200 in Ouled Fayet, 1,800 in Sidi Abdellah, 1,000 in Bouinane and 500 in Reghaia), said the statement.

In addition to 1,300 housing units in the East: 1,000 in Khenchela and 350 in Batna, as well as 2,250 in the western provinces : 700 in Ain Timouchent, 600 in Mostaganem, 600 in Sidi Bel Abbes and 350 in Bechar.

ALGIERS-Nearly 40,000 pre-allocation decisions will be delivered in 2016 to lease program "2001-2002" hire purchase houses subscribers, Director General of the National Agency for Improvement and Development of housing (AADL) Mohamed Tarek Belaribi announced Wednesday.

"40,000 pre-allocation decisions will be delivered from February 8 to AADL 2001-2002 subscribers, .i.e. 1000-1500 per week," Belaribi told APS.

"All logistics are mobilized to achieve this goals," Belaribi added.

Besides the housing implantation site, the pre-allocation decisions include all housing-related data (number of rooms, floor etc ...). The beneficiaries will be able to visit their homes upon decisions granting as the rate of achievement in the sites affected by this operation exceeds 70%.

Furthermore, the Director General of AADL has denied rumors about a possible rise in prices for hire purchase housing, stressing that it was only a re-evaluation of the payment transaction after introduction of decisions pre-allocation in the subscribing process unlike the first "AADL" program.

         2013 projects to be delivered in 2016

Alongside the presentation of pre-allocation decisions, the implementation works of housing projects witness a frantic pace in preparation for distribution to beneficiaries as soon as possible.

In this context, Belaribi said the AADL is willing to receive all projects launched in 2013 in 2016 as the weather conditions marked by low rainfall have contributed to the progress of work.

"The weather conditions will help us meet the challenges related to the delivery of projects launched in 2013," the official said, promising "a lot of surprises in 2016."

As for 2013 subscribers, the site-choosing operation on the Internet will begin on 11 March before delivery of the second payment orders.

Pre-allocation decisions will be delivered from May 31 to the beneficiaries of the first housing quota proposed for the selection of sites chosen on the basis of the progress of work (over 70%).

ALGIERS-A draft over-the-counter contract will for the design and construction of 5,000 hire purchase houses at the new city of Sidi Abdallah (Algiers) has been reviewed and approved Sunday by a Council of Ministers' Meeting chaired by President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

The contract will be signed between the National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development and a Turkish construction company, according to the statement of the Council.

This 5,000-housing unit project is part of a 35,550 hire purchase houses which AADL is about to launch through the provinces of Algiers, Blida, Constantine, Annaba, Tiaret, Setif and Sidi Bel Abbes.

TAMANRASSET – Minister of Housing, Town Planning and City, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, announced Monday in In Guezzam (Tamanrasset), that the construction of 105,000 AADL housing units has been launched.

"The construction of 105,000 housing units, as part of the new program of the National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development (ALDA) was launched," Tebboune told APS on the sidelines of the working and inspection visit of the Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal to the region.

The Offices of Real Estate Development and Management (OPGI) "were urged to launch the construction of new housing units on behalf of AADL," he added.

Furthermore, the sending of notifications for the new eligible applicants for the first payment will be closed in December 2014, the minister said, estimating the number of those candidates called so far is between 130,000 and 140,000.

In this context, Tebboune said that for the success of this operation, 170 people were recruited as extra staff on duty.
