ALGIERS - A quantity of 73 kilos of cannabis resin has been seized Saturday in Tlemcen by units of the National Gendarmerie and another quantity of 25.6 Kg were seized by the units of Border Guard in Bechar, said Sunday a communiqué of the National Defence Ministry (MDN).

3.7-magnitude quake hits Bejaia

ALGIERS- An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale was recorded Friday afternoon, at 4:34 p.m. in the province of Bejaia (263-km east of Algiers) said the national Centre for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAAG) in a statement.
ALGIERS- Several roads have been cut off to traffic in eight central and eastern provinces of the country following the heavy snowfall in these regions over the past 48 hours, said Wednesday the Civil Protection.
