3.1-magnitude earthquake hits Batna

ALGIERS - A 3.1 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale has been recorded in Batna, said the Centre of Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAAG) in a release.
 GHADAIA-A national meeting on national reconciliation and civil harmony will take place on 21 September in Ghardaia. The meeting will be held by the National coordination of associations supporting president of the Republic's programme, the prefecture's staff announced.
ADRAR-Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fishing Abdelkader Bouazgui has presented "Ennahda", implemented in Mguiden, located in the sub-province of Timimoune (Adrar), as a model project of modern and promising agricultural investment.

Smuggler arrested by National Army in Biskra

ALGIERS- A smuggler aboard a truck loaded 30 quintals of tobacco was arrested Tuesday in Biskra by a detachment of the People’s National Army, said Wednesday the Ministry of National Defence in a communiqué.
