ALGIERS- A 3.3-magnitude earthquake on a Richter scale was recorded on Sunday at 00:50 in Bejaïa, Centre for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAAG) said. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 4 km west of Bejaia, the same source said. 
ALGIERS-A quantity of cannabis amouting to 1 quintal was seized Friday in Tlemcen and Sidi Bel Abbes, the National Defence Ministry announced Saturday in a communiqué.
ALGIERS- A forest fire prevention plan for the 2017 summer season will be launched on Thursday in Algiers as part of the measures to protect more than 5,000 ha of forest areas in Algiers, said the official of protection of plant and animal resources at Algiers Forests Conservation Directorate.

ALGIERS-A 3.2 magnitude quake on the Richter scale hit the province of Biskra Thursday at 12:00 a.m., the Centre for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAAG) said.
