ALGIERS- A quake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scaled was recorded Friday, at 6:55 p.m. in the province of Tipasa said the Centre for Researcher in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics.

ALGIERS- An earthquake measuring 3.6-magnitude on Richter scale was recorded Tuesday at 6:41 (local time) in the province of Bouira (120-km southeast of Algiers), according to the Centre for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAAG).
ALGIERS- Three smugglers have been arrested and two trucks as well as 105.6 quintals of tobacco seized by Army detachments during the last 48 hours in Biskra and El Oued, the ministry of National Defence said Monday in a statement.
