Nacima Remmouche, Algerian founder of Arabic teaching school in London

LONDON - Nacima Remmouche is a 42 year old Algerian woman who managed to create an Arabic Language Teaching School in the benefit of the members of the Algerian and Muslim communities residing in the British capital.

She is the first and the only woman who did it.

On Saturdays, 200 students aged between 4 and 18, many of them are Algerians, flock to the Tidemill Arabic School located in southern London, to receive lessons given by 12 teachers.

Even if Nacima has not become richer, this mother of two boys is fully satisfied with her role of helping the younger generations to speak the language of their ancestors and know the traditions of their country of origin.

In the school, kids can build friendships with their likes from the same community and the same culture.

Admitting that the idea of founding this school comes from her husband, Nacima though unveils that she is tough in business as she was successfully running a family business in Algiers.

So she carried her success in Algiers to London, which already counts two similar schools bur managed by men.  Her success is driven by her "strong personality and the passion for what she does.”
