Road accidents: 11 killed, 22 injured in 48 hours nationwide

ALGIERS- Eleven people lost their lives and 22 others were injured in 13 road accidents across the country from 14 to 16 December 2017 at 8 a.m., said Saturday the Civil Protection in a statement.

The heaviest toll was recorded in the eastern provinces of Setif and M’sila, where two people were killed and four others were injured in each province.

The Civil Protection units also intervened to provide immediate first aid to 23 people, after carbon monoxide exposure from water heaters and heating systems, in the provinces of Algiers, Constantine, Naama, Tissemsilt, Biskra and Sidi Bel Abbes, added the source.
