SETIF (Algeria)- The French cyclist Thomas Lebas from Japanese "Bridgeston" team won ion Friday the International Tour of Sétif, which third and final stage returned to Eritrean Mekseb Debesay.
At the end of the third and final stage, run between Setif Setif-Bir Hdada over a distance of 110 km, the Eritrean finished n 2:28: 09, ahead of his teammate Yonas Tekeste ( 2:28:09) and Dutchman Thomas Rabou from "Singapore Continental Cycling" team (2:28 : 09).
For his part, Frenchman Thomas Lebas from Japanese "Bridgeston" team managed to win both the yellow jersey of the leader and the polka dot jersey of best climber, while the red jersey for the best sprinter returned to Eritrea Mekseb Debesay. Russian Shaimuratov the Russian from "Team 21" has won the white jersey for the best hope (under 23 years).
The general team rankings, the final victory went to the Japanese "Bridgeston Anchor Cycling" Team before Russian team "Team 21" and the national team of Eritrea.
This third and final stage of the International Tour de Setif, fifth round of GTAC 2014, was run average of 44.7 km/h.
