PARIS (France)- Algerian tennis player Ines Ibbou qualified Sunday for the third round the ITF Pro Women's Circuit qualifiers in Gonesse, France, by beating Romanian Alexandra Alina Tincu (6-0, 6-0).
In the next round, the 2025 African champion will play against the winner of the match between French Marine Partaud and Marie Mattel.
Ahead of the qualifying tournament, Ibbou has been training in Spain and France for two months.
"After Gonesse, Ines will compete in many tournaments, in which winners get USD15,000," the tennis player's father, Kamel Ibbou, said via social networks.
"She will start in Le Havre, France, before making for Hammamet, Tunisia, where she will compete in four events."
