NICE (France)- Algerian swimmer Oussama Sahnoun won Sunday the gold medal of the 50m freestyle at the international tournament of Nice, France (FFN Golden tour/Camille-Muffat), held February 2-4.
ALGIERS- Algeria has ranked third at the 13th Arab Junior Swimming Championships, which wrapped up Sunday evening in Cairo, Egypt, after winning 57 medals overall (11 gold, 14 silver and 32 bronze), behind Egypt and Tunisia, said Monday the Algerian Swimming Federation (FAN).
CAIRO- Algerian swimmers Jihane Benchadli and Mohamed Anis Djabal won a bronze medal each on Sunday, the fourth day of the 13th Arab Junior Swimming Championships, taking place in Cairo, Egypt, from 16 to 20 November.
ALGIERS- Algeria will participate with 38 athletes in the 13th Arab Swimming Championship scheduled in Cairo from 16 to 20 November at the Cairo water sports centre, with the participation of about ten countries, the Algerian Swimming Federation (FAN) told APS.
BUDAPEST- Algerian swimmer Oussama Sahnoune qualified for the semi-finals of 100 meters freestyle of the 17th FINA World Championships, held in Hungary from 14 to 30 July.
BAKU- Algerian swimmer Amel Melih won the bronze medal in women's 50m backstroke on Tuesday, the fourth day of swimming events at the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, Azerbaijan.
