ALGIERS- National police participants won Friday the title of men's teams at the Arab Police Semi-Marathon Championship (10 km), in Algiers, while the Tunisians dominated the individual events.
TUNIS-The Algerian basketball club GS Petroliers has qualified for the quarterfinals of the FIBA Africa Clubs Champions Cup after they defeated ASB Mazembe (DR Congo) 101-92 (half time: 52-45) in a match part of the 4th round of Group (B) of the competition, which takes place on 11-20 December in Rades (Tunis).

ORAN- The 3rd "Challenge Sahari International" rally kicked off Thursday in Oran with a connection stage towards the municipality of El Aricha (60 km from Tlemcen), where 99 pilots will begin the first stage of the rally to the Oasis of Tayout (Naama) over a distance of 122.5 km.
