TLEMCEN- Algerian athlete Azzi Souhila won Sunday the bronze medal in the final of 10,000m walking, played on the fourth and last day of the African Athletics Championships in Tlemcen.
 TLEMCEN-Algerian relay runners (4x100 m) won the gold (women) and bronze (men) medals of the third round of the African U-20 Athletics Championships in Tlemcen.

TLEMCEN (Algeria)- Algerian Mezioud May Massika won Thursday the final of women's pole vaulting event at the Africa Athletics Championships in Tlemcen (540-km west of Algiers), winning Algeria's first gold medal with a jump of 2.80 metres.

ALGIERS- Algeria’s powerlifting team distinguished itself at the World Powerlifting Championships (juniors and seniors/men and women) which wrapped up in Minsk in Belarus, by winning 12 medals (2 gold, 9 silver and 1 bronze) and hitting a world record in the bench press movement by Ilyas Boughalem, said Wednesday the Algerian Federation of Bodybuilding and Powerlifting (FABP).
