AL BAYDA (Libya)- Minister of Maghreb Affairs, the African Union and the Arab League Abdelkader Messahel held discussions Wednesday, in Al Bayda (East of Libya), with the president of the Libyan House of Representatives Akila Salah, as part of a tour he is making to support the political process to settle Libyan crisis.
Messahel, who arrived Wednesday in Al Bayda leading a large delegation, was received by Akila Salah at the Cabinet of the Authority in charge of drawing up the Constitution.
“Algeria is the first to call for an inter-Libya,” underlined the minister, highlighting the importance of this point in order to put an end to the crisis in this country.
Messahel arrived early Wednesday in Al Bayda as part of a tour that will lead him to various cities and regions of the country, as part of Algeria’s continuing efforts in favour of a political process to settle the Libyan crisis. The next tour id scheduled in the South of Libya.
This tour is part of the efforts that Algeria has always made to bring the Libyan brothers’ positions closer for a lasting political solution to the crisis through the inter-Libyan inclusive dialogue and national reconciliation which preserves Libya’s territorial integrity, its sovereignty and the unity and cohesion of its people.
