ALGIERS- The Sahrawi Foreign Minister Mohamed Salem Ould Salek affirmed that the African Union-European Union Summit, held in Abidjan (Ivory Coast), demonstrated that the coexistence between the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and Morocco is “unavoidable,” pointing out that EU must comply with the international law and convince the Moroccan occupier about the need to respect its borders, recognized at the international level, and put an end to the occupation of Western Sahara.
CHAHID EL HAFEDH- Sahrawi Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Salem Ould Salek called on Morocco to respect its internationally recognized borders and deal with the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and neighbouring countries in mutual respect.
ALGIERS- Sahrawi Foreign Minister Mohamed Salem Ould Salek on Wednesday called on all stakeholders in the Western Sahara conflict, namely the United Nations, the African Union and mainly France, to assume their responsibilities and find a lasting solution.
ALGIERS- Sahrawi Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Salem Ould Salek reaffirmed Wednesday, in Algiers, the “sincere” willingness of the Sahrawi leaders to cooperate with the United Nations (UN) and its mission in Western Sahara for the decolonization of the occupied Sahrawi territories, on the basis of the agreement of 1991, welcoming the expected visit to Western Sahara of the personal envoy of the United Nations Secretary General for Western Sahara Horst Kohler.
ALGIERS- The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) will be present at the African Union-European Union (AU-EU) Summit, to take place in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire on 29 and 30 November, in the same way as all AU Member States, otherwise there will be no AU-EU Summit, said Wednesday in Algiers Sahrawi Foreign Minister Mohamed Salem Ould Salek.
ALGIERS-Saharawi Foreign Minister Mohamed Salem Ould Essalek hailed the decision taken by the African Union (AU) to revive African mechanisms aiming to help resolve the conflict between Morocco and the Saharawi Republic, stressing that the recent positions of the organization taken last week during the summit in Addis Ababa were "judicious and logical.
