LONDON – The 41-day hunger strike of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails has been "a broad assertion that the Palestinian struggle for equality, justice and freedom continues," said the British organization of solidarity with the Palestinian people; Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC). The Palestinian prisoners suspended the strike after Israeli authorities yielded to the demand to enter negotiations with the prisoners’ chosen leaders.
