ADDIS ABABA-The African Union reaffirmed Tuesday its strong support to the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) in its struggle for independence after it adopted Tuesday at the 29th African Union summit a resolution to dispatch an African mission to the Sahrawi territories occupied by Morocco since 1975.

ADDID ABABA- The 31st African Union Executive Council kicked off Friday in Addis Ababa with the participation of Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdelkader Messahel.
ALGIERS- The 29th African Union Heads of State and Government Summit will be held on 3-4 July in Addis Ababa with “the role of youth in the inclusive and sustainable growth in the continent” as a main theme, in addition to a theme devoted to AU’s financial autonomy, a part of which is currently subsidized by partners and donors.
LUSAKA (Zambia)- Zambian President Edgard Longo reiterated Tuesday his country’s strong support to the right of the Sahrawi people to freedom and independence and the recovery of its full sovereignty over all the territory of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR).
