BRAZZAVILLE- The works of the African Union High Level Meeting on Libya crisis have got underway Saturday in Brazzaville, under the chairmanship of Congo's President Denis Sassou N'Guesso.
BRUSSELS- Sahrawi civil society organizations urged the European Union and its member states to stop their attempts to circumvent the ruling of the European Court of Justice (ECJ), which stated that the EU-Morocco trade deals are not applicable to Western Sahara.
BRUSSELS- The European Union (EU) welcomed Friday the adoption by the United Nations Security Council of a regime of sanctions against those who hinder the implementation of the agreement for peace and reconciliation in Mali, stemmed from Algiers process, saying “ready to support its prompt implantation.”

ADDIS ABABA- The African Union's Peace and Security Council and the United Nations' Security Council will hold their 11th joint consultative meeting at AU's headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Friday.

NEW YORK- Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) Antonio Guterres stressed the need to put an end to the conflict in Western Sahara, expressing his commitment to starting the negotiation process between the two parties of the conflict (the Polisario Front and Morocco) for a new impetus to reach a political settlement guaranteeing the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination.
XIAMEN (China)- The leaders of BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) expressed, during their Summit in China's Xiamen, their support to Africa's efforts for the resolution of conflicts in the continent, including in Western Sahara.
ALGIERS- Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel said that Morocco’s assaults against the delegations of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) at the African Union are always "doomed to fail," welcoming the position of the Pan-African Organization which showed "unity and cohesion.”
